GUWAHAT: The Latasil police apprehended four women members of Irani gang in Guwahati on November 27.
According to reports, a group of women including a child were carrying out extortion activities in various parts of the city for the last few days.
Meanwhile, the police have managed to recover huge amount of cash from them.

The members of the gang were first spotted by the locals near Guwahati Railway station where they were demanding money from pedestrians and locals allegedly also saw them near Maligaon railway gate.
As per reports, around 20 members of the Irani gang are at present in the city.
